WORLDTRENDS
In accordancewith forecasts of thewell-
knownmotorcar reviewAutomotiveNews, car
sales in Europe in 2007will amount to 21,5Mio.
In the countries of Asia and in the Pacific, some
19,2Mio carswill be sold. The analysts state
that car sales steadily grow in Europe; however,
inAsia this growth is evenmore striking. This
dynamicsmake it possible to assume that the
countries of Asia and the Pacificwill surpass, by
2009, the European countries by the number of
annually sold cars. It is being supposed that in
2009 some 23Mio carswill be sold inAsia and
only 22,7Mio - in Europe.
